Garage Bike Racks and Lawn Equipment Storage
The two things that take the most floor space in a garage and hold it the worst. Bikes on the wall, rakes and blowers on a rail, both off the ground and clear of the car.
Mounts included at these prices. Quantities confirmed at the free on-site estimate.
The two worst users of floor space
Bikes and lawn equipment have the same problem. Neither stands up on its own for long, both are awkward shapes that do not stack, and both end up leaning against whatever is nearest. A bike on its kickstand takes about the same floor area as a wheelbarrow once you allow for the handlebars, and a rake propped against the wall is on the floor by the weekend.
Put both on the wall and the floor comes back. That is the whole service: mounts and rails fixed into structure, at heights chosen around what you actually own.
What it costs
Quantities and wall runs are confirmed at the free on-site estimate. Shelving above the same wall run, and tool and equipment mounts below it, are priced on the storage installation page.
Bike racks
Bikes hang horizontally on a pair of arms, vertically from the front wheel, or sit in a floor stand where hanging is not an option. Which one suits depends on the bike and on the wall: a heavy electric bike is a different proposition from a child’s bike, and the two rarely want the same height.
Spacing is the part most people underestimate. Bikes hung side by side need their handlebars staggered or they will not sit flat, and each one has to come down without knocking the next. We work that out against your actual bikes rather than to a fixed pitch, and check the wall takes the load first, because a hanging bike puts its whole weight on two fixings.
Lawn equipment rails
Rakes, blowers, trimmers, shovels and brooms all take more room lying down or fallen over than they ever do hanging up. A rail system puts them along one run of wall in the order you use them, which also makes it obvious at a glance when something has not come back.
A loaded rail carries a long lever arm, so like bike mounts it lands on structure rather than on board alone. Heights are set so the longest handle clears the floor and the heaviest item still lifts off the hook without a stretch. Where the same wall is carrying shelving above, the rail run and the shelf run are planned together so neither fouls the other.
It is the same hardware either side of the garage. If the wall you have in mind is more workbench than yard, hand tools, power tools, slatwall and pegboard are the same service under tool and equipment mounts.
Booked on its own or with the wall
Bike and lawn mounts are a standalone job, and plenty of them are exactly that: one wall, one morning, the floor back. They are also part of every Wolf Package, so if the garage is getting a full clearout and layout anyway, this is included rather than extra.
Most of the time the same wall is worth using twice. Shelving above, a rail below, and the bikes at the end where the door does not swing.
If what you are after is the tool side of that wall rather than the bikes, tool and equipment mounts covers slatwall, pegboard, hooks and rails for hand and power tools. Wall shelving, overhead racks and cabinets are on the storage installation page alongside it.

Bike and lawn storage questions
$79 per bike, and that includes the mount itself. If you already have racks you want fitted, say so at the estimate and we will price the labor on its own.
Usually, but it depends on the wall rather than on the bike. An electric bike puts a lot more weight on two fixings than a road bike does, so we check what is behind the board and use a mount rated for it. Where the wall will not take it, a floor stand does the same job.
Yes. Rail systems are built for rakes, blowers, trimmers, shovels and brooms, and they start at $149. A loaded rail carries a long lever arm, so it is fixed into structure rather than into board alone.
No. We supply and install, or install hardware you already have. Either way the fixings and the structural check are part of the job.
Both. Bike and lawn mounts are included in every Wolf Package, and they can be booked on their own with no package at all.
