Kayak, Paddleboard & Fishing Gear Garage Storage
The Coastal Den is our garage organization package built for life on the water — a dedicated home base for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and beach gear, across St. Johns, Duval, Clay and Flagler Counties, Florida.
Final price depends on garage size, the equipment you own and how much mounting hardware the layout needs. Confirmed in writing after a free on-site estimate.
A home base for your water gear
The Coastal Den creates a dedicated home base for your fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and waterfront adventure gear. We’ll organize your equipment into clearly defined zones and install practical storage systems that keep bulky items off the floor, protect valuable gear, and make preparing for your next trip faster and easier.
This package is ideal for coastal homeowners, anglers, paddlers, and active families who need a functional way to store and manage their water-sports equipment.
Why coastal garages here need a different approach
Northeast Florida is humid subtropical, and a garage is the least climate-controlled room in the house. Daytime heat followed by an overnight drop puts condensation on bare metal — which is why rods, reels, tools and hardware left on a concrete floor or in an open corner corrode faster here than they would inland or up north.
Closer to the Atlantic, in Ponte Vedra Beach and Atlantic Beach, salt air, high humidity and strong UV accelerate corrosion and fade finishes further still. Coastal homes weather faster than inland homes of the same age, and the gear stored in them does too.
That changes what good storage looks like. The Coastal Den gets equipment up off the slab and away from the door line, keeps rinseable gear where it can dry rather than sit wet in a sealed bin, and puts frequently used items at hand height so the whole system still gets used in August.

How the package works
Fishing rods will be arranged in a dedicated rack system to help prevent tangles, damage, and unnecessary floor clutter. Tackle boxes, nets, buckets, coolers, and other fishing accessories will be grouped together so your gear is easy to locate and ready when it’s time to head out.
Kayaks and paddleboards will be stored using suitable wall-mounted or overhead systems based on your garage layout, available mounting structure, and accessibility needs. Paddles, pumps, personal flotation devices, seats, carts, tie-down straps, and related accessories will be organized nearby to create a complete grab-and-go zone.
Every Coastal Den is planned around the equipment you own, how often you use it, and the available space in your garage. Frequently used gear will remain easily accessible, while seasonal or less-used items may be moved to higher wall or overhead storage when appropriate.
The goal is to protect your equipment, maximize your garage space, and create an organized coastal gear headquarters that makes every adventure easier to begin and easier to put away.
Additional racks, hooks, bins, shelving, ceiling-storage systems, and specialty equipment holders may be added to your project. Product recommendations and installation costs will be itemized in your proposal based on your equipment, garage layout, and storage needs.
Kayaks, paddleboards, fishing equipment, and other recreational gear are not included. Storage products and installation quantities will be confirmed during the planning process and listed in the approved proposal.
Wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted installations require suitable structural support and safe mounting locations. Electrical relocation, construction, hazardous-material removal, repairs, and installation into unsuitable or damaged surfaces are not included.
The Coastal Den is available across our full service area. Ponte Vedra Beach and Atlantic Beach see the most of it, but Fruit Cove and Mandarin sit on the St. Johns River — the same gear, a different launch.
Not on the water? These packages cover the same craft applied to a different kind of garage.
Coastal Den questions
Either. You can provide your own hardware and we install it, or we can supply quality racks, hooks and mounts at a transparent markup. Product recommendations and installation costs are itemized in your proposal before any work starts.
Not any wall — mounting requires suitable structural support and a safe location. We check framing and clearance during the free on-site estimate and design the layout around what your garage can actually carry. Installation into unsuitable or damaged surfaces is not included.
Most are completed in a single day. Larger garages, or projects with a lot of overhead installation, can run into a second day — we tell you which before we start, not partway through.
Garage size, how much equipment you own, and how much mounting hardware the layout needs. You get a fixed scope and price in writing after the free on-site estimate, and we do not begin until you approve it.
It can, which is why hardware choice matters within a few miles of the Atlantic. We factor coastal exposure into what we recommend and where we place it, so gear dries rather than sits wet against bare metal.
