Garage Wolves ("we," "us," or "our") is a garage organizing and storage solutions company serving St. Johns, Duval, Clay and Flagler Counties, Florida. We're committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect information — whether we receive it through our website, through Facebook and Instagram, or during an in-home service visit.
This Privacy Policy explains our practices clearly. If you have questions, the best way to reach us is through our Facebook page.
01
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Name, phone number, and home or garage address — submitted when you request a quote or book a service via Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs, or any contact form
- Details about your garage space — size, current condition, goals — shared during consultations or messaging
- Payment method details — handled at time of service; we do not store card numbers
Information collected automatically
- Website usage data via Vercel Analytics — page views, referral source, approximate region, and device type; this data is anonymized and contains no personally identifiable information
- Ad interaction data via the Meta Pixel — when you visit our website after seeing a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta may record that interaction for ad performance measurement; this is governed by Meta's own data policy
- Standard server log data — IP address, browser type, and page visited; retained briefly for security and diagnostics
Information collected during in-home visits
- Photographs of your garage space — taken before and after service for project documentation and, with your consent, marketing use
- Notes about your space and project scope — used only to plan and deliver your service
02
How We Use Your Information
- To schedule, confirm, and deliver garage organizing services
- To communicate with you via Facebook Messenger, Instagram, phone, or text
- To generate quotes and send invoices
- To improve and target our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns — including through Meta Custom Audiences, where contact data is hashed before upload and never shared in raw form
- To showcase our work — before-and-after photos may be used in our portfolio, website, or social media (see Section 06 for your opt-out rights)
- To maintain project records and provide follow-up support
03
Analytics & Tracking
Vercel Analytics (active)
Our website is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool. It collects anonymous aggregate data — page views, device category, and approximate geographic region — without cookies or fingerprinting. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored by Vercel Analytics. You can review Vercel's privacy practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Google Analytics (future use)
We may add Google Analytics to this website in the future to better understand visitor behavior. If we do, this policy will be updated with specific disclosures and opt-out instructions before it becomes active. No Google Analytics tracking is currently in place.
04
Meta / Facebook & Instagram
Garage Wolves advertises on Facebook and Instagram (both owned by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and uses these platforms as our primary customer communication channels. This means:
- Meta Pixel is installed on our website. It is a small piece of code that tells Facebook when visitors arrive from our ads, what pages they view, and helps us measure ad effectiveness and build targeted audiences. Meta's pixel may set cookies in your browser.
- Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs are our main booking and quote channels. Messages sent through these platforms are stored on Meta's servers and are governed by Meta's Data Policy.
- Custom Audiences — we may upload hashed contact information (phone number or email) to create Custom Audiences or Lookalike Audiences for advertising. This data is cryptographically hashed before transmission and cannot be reversed by Meta or anyone else.
You can manage your Facebook ad preferences — including opting out of interest-based advertising — at facebook.com/adpreferences. To opt out of the Meta Pixel specifically, you can install the Facebook Off-Facebook Activity tool or use a browser extension that blocks tracking pixels.
05
In-Home Visits & On-Site Information
When a Garage Wolves team member visits your property for a quote or service, we handle your space and information with respect and discretion:
- We only access the garage or storage area relevant to the project — we do not enter or photograph any other areas of your home
- We do not photograph security systems, personal documents, vehicles with visible plates, or identifiable personal items
- Project notes (dimensions, condition, storage goals) are kept internally and used solely to plan and execute your project
- Your address is used for scheduling and service delivery only — it is never published or shared with advertisers in identifiable form
For information about before-and-after photography and your opt-out rights, see Section 06 below.
06
Photography & Your Rights
Before-and-after photos are a core part of how we document our work and showcase results to potential clients. By default, we may photograph your garage space during and after a project and use those images in our portfolio, website, and social media advertising.
You can opt out at any time before service begins. Simply let your Garage Wolves contact know in writing (a text, DM, or email is fine) that you prefer no photos be taken or used. Your opt-out decision has no effect on your service, pricing, or priority.
When photos are published, we take the following precautions automatically:
- Street-visible house numbers are obscured or cropped
- Personal mail, sensitive documents, vehicle license plates, and identifiable personal items are removed from frame or blurred
- We do not caption or tag photos with your name or address
If you'd like us to remove a photo already published, contact us through our Facebook page and we'll remove it promptly.
07
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — for advertising measurement and Custom Audience targeting as described in Section 04; governed by Meta's Data Policy
- Vercel, Inc. — our website host; processes anonymous analytics data as described in Section 03
- Payment processors — when card payments are taken, your payment details are handled directly by the payment processor and are not stored by Garage Wolves
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients or team
08
Data Retention
We keep project records — contact information, service notes, and before-and-after photos — for up to two years after project completion. This allows us to provide follow-up support, honor any service commitments, and refer to project history if you return as a client.
After two years, records are deleted unless you have an active or ongoing service relationship with us. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 09.
Vercel Analytics data is retained on Vercel's infrastructure per their data retention policies. Meta Pixel and advertising data are governed by Meta's own retention schedules.
09
Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Access — request a summary of what personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Deletion — request that we delete your contact information and project records from our systems
- Photo removal — request removal of published before-and-after photos featuring your property
- Opt out of marketing — tell us not to use your contact information for Custom Audience advertising on Meta
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through our Facebook page. We will respond within 10 business days. Fulfilling deletion requests does not affect any legal obligation to retain records for tax or business purposes.
To manage how Meta uses your data for advertising, visit facebook.com/adpreferences.
10
Cookies
Our website itself does not set first-party cookies. However, the Meta Pixel (Section 04) may set third-party cookies in your browser when you visit our site. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies.
You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies specifically, which will prevent the Meta Pixel cookie from being set without affecting the rest of your browsing experience on our site. You may also use browser extensions that block tracking scripts.
